Some terminology basics:
Animé refers to Japanese animation,
or Japanimation, recognizable for its stylistic conventions such as
large, child-like eyes, button noses, and tiny mouths.
Manga are Japanese comics strips and books, a popular
printed equivalent of the animated Animé.
Hentai, or hentai animé, is sexually explicit,
with not only sex, but
demon sex, tentacle sex, bondage, torture, even brutal rape.
Hentai originally meant pervert.

Just Toons is the best all-around adult toon site I've
seen. It's managed by I2 Int'l, one of the major players in Internet porn,
with the resources to make it great.
It doesn't have as much extreme torture and stuff that Hentai Factory has,
but has over 6,000 anime and manga images. What really sets it apart
are new comics and animations they add in weekly and monthly installments,
like Celebrity Slut Match.

Hentai Factory is easily my fave authentic Hentai
site around. Tons of really sick pics, video clips you can save to
your hard drive (none of that streaming crap), and a webmaster
who's clearly into it! This is the biggest collection of truly twisted
hentai I've seen...from sex with giant Jellyfish to classroom gangbangs
to...well, stuff just too nasty to describe!

Toon Erotica
specializes in American-style erotic cartooning. Takeoffs on Superhero
comics, dirty spoofs of clean comics like Archie, Heavy Metal-style dark
erotica, and celebrity knockoffs. Most of their artwork has been commissioned
exclusively for Toon Erotica over the last three years, so you don't seen it
elsewhere, and they'll even have toons drawn by request. Recently they've
added some freshly created non-exclusive artwork, including some
of the regular features from Just Toons, which rounds out the
offerings nicely. They also have some non-toon porn, but it's just run
of the mill photos and videos. I spoke with the webmistress (yeah, a
genuine female in the biz!), and while it's somewhat of amateur affair,
she's been running this for a few years, and runs it totally on the up
and up, with no pirated images that cheat the artists of their due.

Cartoon X is next on my list for review. It's run
by a guy in Europe who goes out on a limb more with drawings that
resemble other mainstream cartoon characters, like Disney's Little
Mermaid and Pocahontas, Lara Croft in "Nude Raider," Jessica Rabbit,
and several Hanna Barberra characters, but I guess it's all done
as satire, like Mad Magazine. Superb quality for spoofs!
This is the most professionally site of this sort I've
seen. Hope to get back with a full report and members area tour soon!
